The Andaman and Nicobar Islands is a beautiful archipelago of the Indian subcontinent and situated at at the junction of the Bay of Bengal and the Andaman Sea. It is an Indian union territory geographically, consisting of 572 islands, of which 37 are inhabited, .

- Water crisis during summer. It is unfortunate that even if being surrounded by water, the region suffers from water crisis especially during the rain deficit season. People over here depend on the rain water.
