The Andaman and Nicobar Islands is a beautiful archipelago of the Indian subcontinent and situated at at the junction of the Bay of Bengal and the Andaman Sea. It is an Indian union territory geographically, consisting of 572 islands, of which 37 are inhabited, .
The more you know about it, the more you delve into the sense of curiosity. People came here from diverse backgrounds of India. Some are families of erstwhile prisoners, some belong to families of settlement of Bangladeshi refugees, some came here to do business. Currently people are relocating here based on their profession, business etc. So, one can feel the diversity in their culture but unity in their existence as an Indian.
Challenges
- Water crisis during summer. It is unfortunate that even if being surrounded by water, the region suffers from water crisis especially during the rain deficit season. People over here depend on the rain water.
- There is limited health facilities in A&N Islands. Hence, taking care of one's health is paramount here.

Always wear safety in your sleeves.
Tide timing is important for sight seeing. Plan your schedule in advance.

Avoid dangling hands and legs while riding on a boat.
Don't drench in rain water unnecessarily.
Don't start your journey, while it's raining outside or there is a rough weather forecast.

3. Government Ferry/transport is a cheaper way to travel Islands.
